There are so many animals to discover at the Birmingham Wildlife Conservation Park at Cannon Hill!

From reptiles and birds to furry favourites like monkeys and red pandas, there are new friends to meet everywhere you turn. You can even catch up with the keepers at feeding times to find out more about some of our animals and see them have their lunch!

Some of our most popular animals are:

  • European Lynx - a big cat that used to be native to Britain, and many groups are hoping to reintroduce
  • Monkeys, tamarins and lemurs - there are lots of different species of these furry, fun loving mammals at the Wildlife Conservation Park, including rare species like Yellow Breasted Capuchin Monkeys
  • Domestic animals - family favourites such as goats, pigs, guinea pigs and sheep from around the world
  • Cranes and ibises - beautiful wading birds
  • Snakes and lizards - including the amazing Rhinoceros Ratsnake, skinks and geckos
  • Our famous Red Pandas - a few years ago you may have seen one of these cheeky chaps on the news after he escaped from his pen!
  • Otters, antelope, wallabies and more!

Come in and visit our amazing animals as part of your fantastic day out at Cannon Hill Park.
